                                                                            General

Welcome to your new way to experience veterinary services at home. We are an *in home (or sometimes outside if weather allows) veterinary service. This is a convenient lower stress option. Your time. Your appointment. This is becoming more rare in veterinary medicine and we are proud to offer this personalized service. If we cannot perform a particular service then we will partner with your full-service veterinary clinic. (For example, for radiographs, surgery, or sedation procedures). We can send out all labs however that your regular clinic can send out. We are a pre-booked service and do not see emergencies/after-hours appointments. Our goal is to provide our clients and their pets with convenient and personal care from our veterinary professionals in the home.

                                                                             Q & A

  1. How to prepare for your visit?

    1. Please have cats in a small carrier or small bathroom just before appointment. Large dogs need to be ready near or in home for visit. On leash preferred when we arrive. We do require current rabies vaccine for our appointments or we can provide one. One visit pass given on this if pet is ill at the time of visit. Previous records mailed before appointment help us send out a treatment plan estimate to you before your appointment. Pre-visit info emailed to email on file. We drive a dark blue Ford Expedition.

    2. For anxious or stressed pets. Fear free anxiety meds available before appointments. If pet is typically stressed for vet visits, this will also assist our appointment. There will be one house call for the meds in advance and then reschedule for another visit with meds given prior to appointment. These meds do not fully sedate the pet, but the hope is to calm pet for future visits. If we are unable to perform services needed, then you will be referred to full service clinic for further options on care. We want your pet to be as comfortable as possible during their vet care. If we cannot perform a service we will partner with a full service veterinary hospital to meet your pet's needs.

    3. Samples at visits: you may collect stool from yard within 24 hours of visit for us to run parasite testing at wellness visits. Pets are less stressed this way vs us trying to obtain a sample from them. Can be saved in plastic bag or similar container. Urine samples can also be collected and stored in fridge within 24 hours. There are amazon cat collection kits for litter boxes also. (Kit4Cat Urine collection kit)
